Limitations

Polyester Only: Sublimation ink only forms a permanent bond with polyester fibers. Cotton, nylon, or blended fabrics cannot use the pure sublimation process. Fortunately, the vast majority of modern cycling jerseys use polyester, so this limitation has minimal impact.

Dark Base Fabric Limitation: Sublimation ink is transparent—it relies on the whiteness of the fiber itself as the base color. On dark fabrics, the print will be swallowed by the base color.
