Breathing Rhythm in the 1500m

Number of turns: 59. Each flip turn saves approximately 0.5 seconds, totaling about 30 seconds saved. For timed races, flip turns are a key factor in improving 1500m performance.

Triathlon Open-Water 1500m

In triathlons at Chengcing Lake in Taichung or Living Lake in Taitung, pace management in the 1500m swim leg is even more critical because there are still 40km of cycling and 10km of running ahead. It is recommended that triathletes keep their 1500m swim intensity at 70–75% of maximum heart rate to conserve energy for the subsequent disciplines.
