This 4.44 km wooded scenic road is rolling rather than a single climb: only about 92 m net gain, but roughly 201 m of accumulated ascent. Manage repeated dips and rises, slow for blind bends and expect buses, cars and hikers. Stay on the paved road, obey Hong Kong signs 154, 155 and 156, and never take a bicycle onto non-designated country-park trails.

新娘潭路穿行新界東北山林，是香港代表性的景觀騎乘道路。只走允許單車通行的鋪裝公路，不把路線延伸進未指定的郊野步道。
