A 1.03 km paved public-road climb from the Nagusa side of Ashikaga to Fujisaka Pass, gaining about 69 m from the canonical altitude stream. It is the opposite approach to the separate Matsuda-side route. Watch for local traffic and blind wooded bends, check road and bear notices, and cancel after heavy rain, in snow or ice, or during closures.

藤坂峠名草側是足利市官方推廣的公路自行車爬坡，沿縣道 218 號名草小俣線鋪裝公共道路升向峠頂。它與已收錄的松田側是相反坡面，起點與騎乘方向不同。
林間盲彎與地方車流需要禮讓；不轉入步道，也不因路線短而忽略下坡風險。
