Guanwu to Zhang Xueliang Entrance → Police Station
From Wufeng Qingshui (entrance to Dr. Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence), follow the Dalu Forest Road uphill to Guanwu Police Station, covering approximately 26.5 km with a total ascent of about 1,400 m. This rare, sparsely populated forest road journey culminates in the breathtaking sea of clouds at Guanwu and the panoramic view of the Shengling Range, offering some of the finest scenery in the Hsinchu mountain region.

路線介紹
觀霧位於雪霸國家公園西北側，海拔約 2000 公尺，以雲海、巨木與眺望雪山聖稜線聞名。本路線從五峰清泉的張學良故居入口起算，沿大鹿林道一路爬向觀霧警察局，全程約 26.5 公里、爬升約 1400 公尺。
這是一條「進山很深」的路線：清泉之後人煙迅速稀薄，林道在山腰蜿蜒，鐵板橋、雪霸農場等地標一路數過去，海拔爬升的同時雲霧開始在林間流動——觀霧之名毫不誇張。路程長、補給空白、天氣多變，完成它需要的是規劃能力，不只是腿力。
天氣好的日子，終點前的展望台能看見大霸尖山的稜線，那一眼會讓 27 公里的爬升全部值回票價。
