This paved eastern-island approach starts near Cape Collinson and climbs toward Fung Ha Road and Tai Tam Gap. The verified mother segment is 2.12 km with about 143 m of ascent at 6.7%. Its first reliable subsegment averages about 9.1%, while the later one eases to roughly 5.4%, creating a hard-then-steady profile. Supplies are limited, and cemetery traffic becomes intense around Ching Ming, Chung Yeung and grave-sweeping weekends. 路線概述
路線從哥連臣角與柴灣東南側起步，沿公共鋪裝道路向峰霞道與大潭坳方向上攀。前段離開墓園與住宅區後很快取得高度，後段接近大潭道路系統時坡勢轉緩。這條線與筲箕灣或大潭篤側爬坡並不重複，是另一個由香港島東端切入大潭山區的入口。
