Hong Kong Shatin Pass Road Climb

Starting near Our Lady of Maryknoll Hospital in Tsz Wan Shan, this paved public-road climb follows Shatin Pass Road to the car park at Jat's Incline. The complete mother segment is 3.50 km with about 403 m of ascent at roughly 11.5%, including a decisive ramp above twenty percent near Pok Chuen Street. Although the enrichment dry run found one terrain fill and two genuine subsegments, they stopped near 2.6 km and omitted almost 0.9 km at the top, so the full mother segment is retained. Traffic and hikers share the road; check Transport Department or HKeMobility notices before riding. The drainage-work notice ending on 2 August 2026 was temporary, not a permanent closure.
