This high-altitude road climb follows the paved public northern approach to Laji Mountain toward Zongkha Laze. The formal reconstruction combines four genuine Strava subsegments with three terrain gap sections, covering 20.29 km and about 915 m of uninterrupted ascent; its representative 100–150 m maximum grade is roughly 8.2%. The source device used an absolute elevation datum about 65 m too low, so every segment geometry and the page profile were shifted uniformly to anchor the summit near the official 3,803 m. This correction changes neither grade shape nor total gain. Check Qinghai road notices, because thin air, wind chill, rockfall, ice and sudden storms make this public highway a serious undertaking.

路線由拉脊山北側約 2888 公尺處出發,沿連續鋪裝的國省幹線山路向宗喀拉則與拉脊山埡口方向攀升。2026 環大美青海國際公路自行車賽仍以拉脊山高海拔爬坡作為關鍵賽段,官方公路單位也將埡口、長下坡與落石邊坡列為重點值守位置。這不是景區步道,而是仍有一般車輛的公共公路;915 公尺爬升本身已經扎實,接近 3800 公尺的低氧、風寒與快速變天才是它真正的難度。
