Tataga
Starting from Shuili, this route ascends along the new Central Cross-Island Highway (Route 21) all the way to Tataga. Covering 70 kilometers with approximately 2,500 meters of elevation gain, it stands as the most iconic long-distance climb in central Taiwan. Unlike the steepness of Wuling, this route offers a longer distance and a more grueling rhythm, making it a true test of endurance and补给 discipline.

路線介紹
塔塔加是玉山國家公園的門戶，也是新中橫公路（台 21 線）的最高點。路線從水里出發，沿陳有蘭溪谷經信義、同富，一路爬向海拔約 2600 公尺的塔塔加，全程約 70 公里、總爬升約 2500 公尺。
和西進武嶺相比，塔塔加的坡度更「均勻」，少有超過 10% 的爆點，但 70 公里的長度讓它成為一場標準的耐力賽——前 30 公里的河谷段看似平緩，其實一直在偷偷墊高度；同富之後正式進入山區，最後 30 公里才是本體，海拔一路墊上 2000 公尺後，夫妻樹、大鐵杉的地標一個個出現，雲海與玉山群峰的展望是這條路最好的報酬。
每年多場塔塔加挑戰賽在此舉辦，是中南部車友的主場聖山。
