Taking advantage of the sunny weather during the Double Tenth holiday, the TMD cycling team organized a supposedly "heartwarming" hot group ride in central Taiwan, attracting many male and female cyclists to join enthusiastically. The group gathered early in the morning in front of the Taichung City Government, then headed toward the training climbs favored by central Taiwan riders—Mifen Slope and County Road 139—with the final destination being Fengshan Temple. What was supposed to be an easy, relaxed ride turned into an anaerobic, all-out battle once the climbing sections began. Riders gritted their teeth and sprinted on the steep slopes, sweat pouring, perfectly embodying the humorous slogan "from raising the flag to ascending to heaven."
