1. Remove the front and rear wheels
2. Remove the pedals (remember the left and right threads are different!)
3. Rotate the handlebar 90 degrees (or remove the stem)
4. Lower the seatpost (or remove it)
5. Remove the rotors (recommended for disc brakes, to prevent bending)
6. Insert spacers into the disc brake calipers (to prevent the brake pads from closing)
7. Protect the derailleur (wrap it in bubble wrap or remove it)

1. Take out all parts and check for transport damage
2. Reinstall the wheels (confirm proper installation)
3. Reinstall the pedals (right is standard thread, left is reverse thread)
4. Adjust the handlebar direction and tighten

6. Reinstall the rotors (if removed)
7. Remove the caliper spacers
8. Check the torque on all bolts
9. Test the brakes and shifting
