To explore the differences in FTP data between the RAMP step test and the traditional 20-minute time trial test, CT set up a trainer and went live to take on the challenge. Riding a Merida Reacto 300 paired with a Magene Gravat trainer and connected to Zwift's virtual course, the target wattage gradually increased with each minute's ramp stage. The camera captured the real-time progression from the initial relaxed pedaling to the intense struggle in the anaerobic zone, rapid lactate accumulation, and heart rate spiking into the red zone. Under the watch of many online riders, this battle of willpower and physiological limits was full of immediacy.
