On the second day of the JJSC team's southern Taiwan road bike tour, under the cloudy and sunny weather as the outer circulation of a typhoon approached, they set off north from Hengchun in the early morning. After a quick refueling stop in Laiyi Village, the team cut into Taiwu Tribe and began a long continuous climb through mountain roads. Along the way, they took on the ultimate challenge known as the 'Back Door of Dawu Mountain,' a section with a gradient of up to 26%. Riders struggled to stand and pedal on the slippery concrete surface and mossy corners, fighting against the immense gravity that could cause the rear wheel to slip or the front wheel to lift at any moment. Later, as they moved to the Shenshan Tribe in Sandimen, they were suddenly hit by a torrential downpour in the mountains. Facing the double blow of harsh weather and legs at their limit, the team's struggle through the wind and rain was a stirring sight.
