A full five-and-a-half-hour live recording of the summer Taiwan KOM (King of the Mountain) East Route to Wuling, starting at dawn from the Taroko archway in Hualien, climbing along the Central Cross-Island Highway to an elevation of 3,275 meters. The lens captures the majestic cliffs of the Liwu River Gorge, the sustained gentle slopes from Tianxiang to Xibao, and the captivating forest changes with altitude at Xibaiyang and the Sacred Tree of Bilu. As the air thins, the final 10 kilometers of the devilish steep slopes at Dayuling test both mind and legs to the limit, with a first-person perspective fully presenting the pacing rhythm and magnificent scenery of challenging this world-class route.
