Chinese Taipei National Team (5 Riders)

Lu Shao-Hsuan (31) — Team Captain

Hung Kun-Hung (40) — The Ageless Legend

• Claim to Fame: One of the oldest Taiwanese riders in this year’s field
• Signature Moment: Attempted a solo breakaway attack on Stage 2 in Taoyuan. He was eventually caught, but the spirit of a 40-year-old daring to try it is truly moving

At 40, he is practically “antique” status in professional cycling. But Hung Kun-Hung isn’t just here to finish—he’s here to attack.

Chang Yu-Cheng (21) — The Surprise Machine

• Tour de Taiwan Experience: First appearance
• Best Result: 18th on Stage 1 (5th among Asian riders)
• Role: Originally a domestique, he stepped up to lead after the captain crashed

The transition from supporting role to protagonist—Chang Yu-Cheng has shown maturity and adaptability beyond his years.

Yeh Hsuan-Yu (21) — The Giant Rising Star

Feng Chun-Kai (37) — The Living History of the Tour de Taiwan

• Remarkable Record: 17th appearance at the Tour de Taiwan
• Status: A legendary figure in Taiwanese cycling

17 times! While other riders are still nervous about their first appearance, Feng Chun-Kai treats the Tour de Taiwan as an annual routine. From age 20 to 37, he has witnessed the race’s entire evolution from obscurity to UCI 2.1 status.

Tu Chih-Hao (28) — Taiwan’s Fastest Man

• Team: Utsunomiya Blitzen (Japan)
• Nickname: “Taiwan’s Fastest Man”
• Strength: Outstanding sprinting ability

Ho Yen-I (24) — The European Campaigner

• Team: Equipo Kern Pharma (Spain)
• Claim to Fame: The only Taiwanese rider on a European ProTeam
• This Year’s Performance: 30th on Stage 2, briefly ranked 9th overall, just 53 seconds off the blue jersey
• Setback: Suffered cardiovascular discomfort in the final 3 km
