Taking advantage of the Lunar New Year holiday, I headed south to Kaohsiung, mounted my road bike, and explored the newly fully connected Kaohsiung Railway Green Corridor bike path. Starting from Zuoying and heading south, the camera captures the open green spaces and smooth pavement along the way, passing by the art museum, city stations, and old railway tracks converted into scenic corridors. However, for out-of-town riders unfamiliar with the area, the frequent traffic lights at intersections, the separation of north-south routes, and somewhat vague signage presented unexpected navigational challenges and detours. Is this new urban network of over ten kilometers a leisurely paradise or a test of patience? Follow the lens to find out.
